Nollywood legend Jide Kosoko expressed that he stands by his decision to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and believes that Tinubu is performing admirably.
Speaking on ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ with content creator Bae U Barbie, Jide Kosoko discussed the challenges of revitalizing a struggling economy.
The host asked: “People that voted for Tinubu do you think they should be bullied?”
Kosoko replied: “That is their own business. Their own cup of tea. I am entitled to my opinion. I love the man I voted for. And I know he is doing well.
“He is doing well. If only you know how repairing things are, you will understand that he is doing very well.”
On why he voted for Tinubu, the actor said, “I voted for him because I have known him for a long time. And I have seen quite a lot of his contributions to nation building.
“You cannot even talk about this present democracy that we are all enjoying without saying Tinubu’s name among the people that struggled for us to have it.”
