President Tinubu receives invitation for state visit to China

President Xi Jinping of China has invited President Bola Tinubu to visit China in September.

The invitation was delivered by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Chen Xiaodong during a visit to the Aso Villa on Thursday.

Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga announced the invitation on Friday, stating that the President has accepted and hopes the visit will enhance Nigeria-China relations and progress the currency swap agreement.

Additionally, the invitation includes Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, who will also be joining the state visit.
