Olu Jacobs: Reaction as Family debunks death rumour, releases video

Olu Jacobs

Betty Irabor, the founder of Genevieve Magazine, has dismissed false reports circulating that Nollywood icon Olu Jacobs has passed away.

Despite rumors on social media claiming the veteran actor had died at the age of 82, Jacobs is alive and well.

But Irabor tweeted: “Olu Jacobs is well and alive. Please ignore all rumours of his passing.”

Jacob’s family even shared a video to confirm his well-being, as he has been battling with dementia.

Joke Silva, Jacobs’ wife, previously mentioned how his illness has significantly impacted their lives.

She said: “It hasn’t been easy. There was a point of acceptance for me that everything happening is reality and it is like the person I married, 80 per cent of the time is no longer there.”
