VeryDarkMan

Excitement is beginning to emerge on various social media platforms as activist VeryDarkMan is finally granted bail by the court after spending three weeks in prison.

On May 22nd, 2024, TALKING ARENA reported that activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, was remanded by the Federal High Court in Abuja for cybercrime.

It should be noted that according to the police charge sheets, activist VeryDarkMan faced arraignment on five charges related to cyberstalking.

One of the allegations states that the accused uploaded videos on his Instagram account, ‘verydarkblackman,’ which contained content deemed “grossly offensive, pornographic, or of an indecent, obscene, or menacing nature.”

The court was made aware that the accused made a false claim in an Instagram video suggesting an indecent sexual relationship between Iyabo Ojo and her daughter, despite being aware of the falsity of the information.

Moreover, the police contended that the accused shared another video on social media falsely implicating actress Tonto Dike in the criminal conversion of funds from the #JusticeforMohbadMovement crowdfunding. He also falsely accused her of being associated with the controversial gossip blog, Gistlover.

Additionally, the prosecution asserted that in yet another social media video, the accused falsely alleged that prominent police officers and senators were engaged in sexual relationships with Bobrisky, a male cross-dresser also known as Idris Okuneye, who has been legally convicted.

Nevertheless, the well-known Nigerian blogger Tunde Ednut confirmed in a recent post that VeryDarkMan appeared in court this morning, June 10th, 2024, and subsequently his bail was approved.

He wrote; “THIS MORNING: VeryDarkMan seen in court this morning. Bail has been granted to him and requirements arrangements are currently being made. He will be home once he finishes that.”
