Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy, also known as Damini Ogulu, has entered the world of cinema.
The popular artist will be making his debut as an executive producer for the upcoming movie ‘3 Cold Dishes’ by Black Mic Mac.
This project will be produced through his company Spaceship Films, which he co-founded with his mother Bose Ogulu.
Joining forces with Black Mic Mac, Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network, Burna Boy will be working on this film set in Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, and Côte d’Ivoire.
Directed by Asurf Oluseyi and written by Tomi Adesina, ‘3 Cold Dishes’ features a stellar cast including Osas Ighodaro, Femi Jacobs, Wale Ojo, Ruby Akubueze, Brutus Richards, and actors from Ivory Coast and Senegal.
“This film is a testament to the strength and resilience of its characters, and it took us blood and sweat to get it to this stage,” the director, Asurf Oluseyi stated in an interview with Variety.
