Nigerian sprinter Tobi Amusan shocked the world by outpacing world champion Danielle Williams in the 100m hurdles at the Jamaica Athletics Invitational, finishing with an impressive time of 12.40 seconds.
This victory not only established Amusan as the fastest woman in the world but also propelled her to the top of the world rankings, surpassing the previous world lead time held by American Tonea Marshall.
With her eyes set on the Paris 2024 Olympics, Amusan’s dominant performance in the 100m hurdles has solidified her as a formidable competitor in the track and field world.
