Britney Spears and Sam Asghari finalize divorce

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have completed the finalization of their marital separation.

The individual who is known for his work as an actor and a personal trainer initiated the formal process of divorce from the renowned pop star following a marital union that lasted for a duration of 14 months, commencing in August of the preceding year.

Subsequently, they have successfully reached an amicable resolution to dissolve their union.

As per information from TMZ, the duo submitted legal paperwork to the judicial system in Los Angeles during the night of Wednesday, and the dissolution of their marriage will be officially recognized subsequent to receiving approval from a designated judge.

Britney Spears, aged 42, first crossed paths with Sam, aged 30, while working on the production of her music video “Slumber Party” in 2016, eventually leading to their engagement in 2021.

Their nuptial ceremony took place at her residence in California in the month of June in the year 2022, following the establishment of a prenuptial agreement.

Contrary to speculations suggesting a potential challenge to the prenuptial terms, the recently disclosed legal documents confirm that both parties have upheld the provisions outlined in the agreement during the process of their marital dissolution.

In accordance with details from Page Six, the division of property assets will be executed in alignment with the prenuptial arrangement, thereby enabling the acclaimed artist behind the hit “Toxic” to retain all earnings accumulated prior to, during, and post their shared marital period.

Additionally, she will retain ownership of various personal possessions, including a collection of assorted jewelry.

Notably, the former couple had already come to a mutual understanding regarding the allocation of custody for their five dogs, resulting in Sam becoming the primary caretaker of a Doberman named Porsha, while Britney Spears will retain sole ownership of her remaining four canine companions.

Sam Asghari holds the distinction of being the third spouse in Britney’s marital history. The iconic singer had previously embarked on a marital journey with her childhood acquaintance Jason Alexander, a union that endured merely 55 hours in the year 2004.

Subsequently, she entered into matrimony with dancer Kevin Federline, renowned as the father of her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, a union that spanned from the years 2004 to 2007.
