Wizkid finally breaks silence following mother’s death

Renowned Nigerian singer, Ibrahim Balogun, widely recognized as Wizkid, has decided to cancel his highly anticipated tour for his upcoming album, ‘more love less ego’.

This decision comes after the devastating loss of his mother on August 18th, 2023.

Initially, Wizkid had rescheduled his ‘More love less ego’ tour to take place from September to December 2023 due to unforeseen circumstances.

However, his management has now issued a statement confirming the cancellation of the album tour.

Additionally, fans who had already purchased tickets for the show will receive their refunds within a timeframe of 3-5 days.

The post reads, “Hi there, This event has been cancelled… The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that the show on 14 October 2023 has been cancelled.

“The following statement has been issued: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am cancelling my upcoming tour dates in Europe. I’m already working with my team and will be back soon.”

“We’ve already issued a refund for your booking – so you don’t need to do a thing. You’ll see a credit onto the method of payment you used within 3-5 days”.
