Judgement Day: What Nigerians should expect from us – Presidential Tribunal

The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal has informed Nigerians that they should anticipate a lengthy judgment regarding the petitions filed against President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.

Justice Haruna Tsammani, the Chairman of the Panel and Head of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, made this announcement during the opening remarks before the court proceedings.

The tribunal will commence the session by addressing the petition of Peter Obi and the Labour Party against the victory of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said, “Today, we have reached the zenith of these proceedings. The judgment is a bit lengthy, so we plead your patience.”

Additionally, other individuals present at the tribunal include Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, Nasawara State Governor Abdullahi Sule, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, and Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State.
