Di’ja finally speaks on sudden exit from Mavin Records

Hadiza Blell, also known as Di’Ja, a former Mavin Records signee from Nigeria who has responded to rumors that she has left the label.

The 39-year-old performer affirmed that she was still with Mavins Records and showed her support for Tems, a growing talent.

After a fan speculated that Di’Ja may have succeeded even more than Tems, they got into a discussion over why she quit Don Jazzy‘s label.

In response, the singer set the record straight, stating, “I never left. Kindly know this. Life happens, and we are grateful for all the love and happenings. God bless Tems, and I need her to get bigger.”

Di’Ja released videos on Twitter to mark her birthday, showing off the kind of presents she got, including a cake from Mavin Records.

Expressing her gratitude, she wrote, “Thank you to my family, friends, and family at Mavin for my cakes. I must gain weight this year.”

Di’Ja joined Mavin Records in February 2014, debuting with her single “Yaro.” Throughout her time with the label, she collaborated with fellow Mavins artists on popular tracks such as “Dorobucci,” “Adaobi,” “Looku Looku,” and “Arise.”

Di’Ja’s explanation puts an end to speculations and emphasizes her continuous association with Mavins Records, even though many would like to see her work with them.
