Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, a well-known Nigerian cook, has finally responded to attempts by other chefs to top her Guinness World Record.
The 26-year-old Akwa Ibom restaurateur shot to popularity after shattering the record for the longest single-person cookout.
Hilda received encouragement from Nigerians both offline and online over the course of her four-day cooking marathon.
Lekki, Lagos, was packed to the brim with people throughout the entire cooking marathon, including celebrities who were there to support her.
But it seems that the encouragement Hilda got encouraged many Nigerians to try to break records, including the one Hilda recently did.
A number of Nigerian chefs have embarked on cooking marathons in a bid to beat Hilda’s record time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.
Finally speaking on how she feel on these attempts in an exclusive chat with Legit NG, Hilda Baci said she sees herself as a trailblazer and an inspiration to others.
“I feel i started a trend or like I am pretty much a trailblazer because only a trailblazer will start something and other people will want to do it”.
