Tinubu Holds Closed-Door Meeting with Newly Appointed Service Chiefs at Aso Rock

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently engaged in a closed-door meeting with the recently appointed Service Chiefs.

This gathering commenced a few minutes ago at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday.

In attendance are Major-General C.G Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General T.A Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff; AVM H.B Abubakar, the Chief of Air Staff; Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, the Chief of Naval Staff; and DIG Kayode Egbetokun, the acting Inspector-General of Police.

It can be recalled that prior to his recent trip to Paris, France, to participate in a financial summit, Tinubu had caused a stir across the nation when he dismissed the former service chiefs and announced their replacements.

Additionally, Tinubu appointed Malam Nuhu Ribadu, a former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), as the National Security Adviser (NSA), taking over from Babagana Monguno.
